Bernd Benecke

Bernd Benecke (born April 14, 1963 ) is audio film editor at Bayerischer Rundfunk Munich and lecturer in audio description at Saarland University .

Life

After Benecke at the Georg-August University was completed in Göttingen his state examination for teaching at secondary schools in chemistry and mathematics, he founded together with Robert Müller, Andrea Hartwig and Elmar Dosch The team of German Filmbeschreiber, the 1989 See No Evil, Hear No Evil the made the first film with audio description in Germany. In 1993 he began to work as a news editor and newscaster for Bayerischer Rundfunk, where he became Germany's first editor for audio description in 1997. In 2013 he did his doctorate with his thesis audio description as partial translation. Model and method at Saarland University.
