Bernd Latour
Bernd Latour (* 1944 ) is a German specialist in German.
Life
After receiving his doctorate in Hamburg in 1973 ( elative and affirmative modal words. Investigations into the function and history of communicative units in Middle and New High German ), he taught there from 1982 until his retirement in 2010 as a professor of German with a special focus on German as a foreign language.
His focus is on linguistics of German as a foreign language and conflict rhetoric.
