Bernhard Baumbach

Bernhard Baumbach ( also: Baumbach von Rhainach; Baumbach von Kaimberg ; * around 1859, † 1929 ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Bernhard Baumbach studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1879 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After completing his studies, he entered the administrative service of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . From 1898 to 1901 he was district director of the Erstein district . He was subsequently police chief in Metz . After the First World War , he last lived until his death in 1929 as senior government councilor. D. in Gotha .
