Bernie Bonvoisin (* 9. July 1956 in Nanterre as Bernard Michel Bonvoisin ) is a French rock singer , writer and actor.

Life

Bernie Bonvoisin became known as the lead singer for the band Trust in the late 1970s . The band, which was initially boycotted by the state media, attracted attention with its socially critical lyrics, but achieved cult status on extensive tours and festivals. She later appeared internationally with AC / DC or Iron Maiden, for example.

Bonvoisin has also appeared as a solo artist since 1986, but continues to work with Trust with interruptions. In 2013 he could be heard with his own band Kollektif AK-47 . As an actor, he first appeared in front of the camera in 1987. He has appeared in more than a dozen films and several TV series. He is also active as an author, director and composer of film music . For the film Les Démons de Jésus he was nominated in 1997 for a Tiger Award for Best Film and the César in 1998 for Best First Work.

Bonvoisin always stands out for its rather robust political and social statements and has published several books. Today he is one of the best-paid French artists and is largely covered over his private life.
