The amber lake Ruhlsdorf is located in the Barnim district in Brandenburg between Ruhlsdorf and Marienwerder . At the Kiessee there are open bathing areas with a sandy beach. On the northern bank there is a lido with several beach volleyball fields. The lake has an area of 27.6 hectares with a maximum length of almost one kilometer.
As is typical for Kiesseen, the water is clear and clean with a depth of around two meters. The water quality was consistently rated “excellent” from 2014 to 2018.
