The Hamburg vocational advancement agency is part of the network of German vocational advancement agencies . It was founded in 1962 in the Farmsen-Berne district in the Wandsbek district . Its aim is "to help people with health impairments reintegrate into working life" .

The facility offers 25 mostly theoretical subject-based training courses, from office management clerks to technical product designers , which are accompanied by several months of practical experience in a company, with a recognized final examination at the end of the usually two-year training period (for commercial professions, the IHK examination, etc. ). In addition to these qualifications, the rehabilitation candidates are taught important key qualifications (ability to work in a team, specialist knowledge, independence and flexibility) for the job market.
