Working life

The working life is to do the amount of time that a person spends so gainful employment. Further meanings are the fact of the work activity or the stage of life ("... is in professional life"). Places visited on business trips are also considered workplaces . As a rule, professional life is contrasted with leisure . Working life is defined socially by certain restrictions, which are expressed as dress codes , obligations to diplomatic and cooperative manners , confidentiality obligations, etc. In western countries, working life usually lasts from reaching the age of majority to reaching retirement age .

The history of an individual professional life or professional career is referred to as a so-called employment biography.
