Copy layer, coating channel

A coating channel is used to apply a liquid evenly. For example, it is used in screen printing to apply the coating emulsion to a screen. Coating channels are usually made of aluminum or stainless steel. It must be ensured that the edge at which the emulsion leaves the channel for application is in perfect condition, i.e. does not show any soiling or wear. The coating channel must be carefully cleaned after use.
