The Beschussgesetz (BeschG) of the Federal Republic of Germany regulates the testing and approval of firearms and their ammunition . The full name reads the law on the testing and approval of firearms, firecrackers, devices that use ammunition for propulsion, as well as ammunition and other weapons .

The weapons included in the law include firearms, firecrackers, devices that use ammunition for propulsion, but also caseless propellant charges. It also includes the most highly stressed parts and ammunition and other weapons.
