Better lacquering (spelling: BESSER LACKIEREN) is a biweekly trade newspaper for industrial surface coating, which is published by Vincentz Network GmbH & Co. KG and which is the only publication in German-speaking countries that focuses on organic coating.
The newspaper's target group are decision-makers in industrial painting technology: paint shop managers, production managers and technical and organizational managers in paint shops.
In addition to the printed edition with a total of 21 editions per year, the publisher also publishes two textbooks for training to become a process mechanic for coating technology: The "Study book for coating technology" and the "Work and task booklet for coating technology" are always kept up to date and together with Vocational school teachers and technical experts.
The publisher organizes the following conferences and congresses for the target group of the specialist newspaper:

The BESSER LACKIEREN AWARD is an annual competition for the best paint shop of the year, which aims to motivate and reward companies in industrial coating that meet the challenge of innovation, performance, social competence, ecology and Provide profitability. An independent jury and the experts from Fraunhofer IPA guarantee the objectivity of the competition.
A SUPPLIER AWARD calls on companies to evaluate their suppliers in order to create more transparency. It was carried out for the first time in 2018.
