The Windfang visitor wind turbine is a wind turbine built in 1999 with an integrated viewing platform in the Euro Wind Park near Vetschau in the west of Aachen . There are nine wind turbines in the Euro Wind Park , each with an output of 1.5 to 1.8 MW. The vestibule is of the Enercon E-66 type with a hub height of 66 m and an output of 1.5 MW. Inside, instead of the usual ladders, a spiral staircase leads up to a glazed viewing gondola at a height of 63 m. This is accessible to visitors after registration.

The name Windfang came about as part of a competition among students from Aachen.
