Betrifft Justiz (own spelling Betrifft JUSTIZ ) is a legal journal aimed at judges and public prosecutors.

history

The publication was founded in 1985 by judges and prosecutors. Most editors are the new Judges Association suggested in the past ver.di . The magazine appears quarterly. Since 2007, Betrifft JUSTIZ has been published by an association (Betrifft Justiz eV based in Mühltal near Darmstadt), the majority of which are also editors. The printing is done by the printing workshop Kollektiv Offsetdruck & Verlag GmbH Darmstadt-Arheilgen.

According to its claim, the magazine is aimed at members of the judiciary who are interested in the critical exercise of their profession and in an exchange of views on problems that arise at work and outside of it. Thematically, she deals with questions of judicial policy, internal judicial matters, legal questions from all areas of the third power and their general political significance. Regularly recurring focal points are reports on the situation of the judiciary around the world, mediation and reporting on the results of the " judges' advice ".

The articles of the journal are evaluated in the legal database juris with abstracts. Concerning justice can be found in many court and university libraries. To mark anniversaries, the editorial team organizes symposia on legal and judicial issues, e.g. B. 2005 and 2010 in Karlsruhe.
