Charm bracelet

A charm bracelet (English bracelet charm ) is a bracelet with chain links, which at the wrist is supported and serves small trailer , Jou-Jou or Charms called to mount.

The attached symbols can have different meanings, whether as a certificate of love, good luck charm, symbols of faith or general symbols, for example heart, clover leaf, chimney sweeper, key. Small coat of arms-shaped silver pendants with city coats of arms or city views ( travel shield charms ) are also very popular . The pendants are often used to remember people and places. The name probably comes from the fact that the components were originally “begged together” (requested by other people) by the wearer.

Charm bracelets are now available in almost every imaginable design, made of various metals and even plastic. However, chains and pendants made of silver or, in the more expensive variant, gold are predominant.

A special form of this bracelet is the so-called "Italian luck bracelet", which has come into fashion and is gradually completed with personal luck symbols or letters.
