Bettina Lindmeier
Bettina Lindmeier (* 1967 ) is a German special educator .
She studied “teaching at special schools” (with a focus on pedagogy for behavioral and learning disabled people / main school didactics) at the University of Würzburg . She then did her doctorate there on the subject of the beginnings of raising difficult children under Johann Hinrich Wichern and qualified as a professor in general education for the disabled. Today she is professor for “General Disability Education” at the University of Hanover .
Her work focuses on the participation of disabled people / inclusion, early childhood education and upbringing, vocational training and professional integration of disabled people and housing and age of disabled people.
