Beyendorfer pond

The Beyendorfer Teich is a small pond in the Beyendorf district of the Beyendorf-Sohlen district of Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

The pond is located west of the street Zum Bahnhof and is privately owned. Its diameter is about 15 meters, the bank is surrounded by trees, apart from the north side.

In a map from 1882, the pond is referred to as a watering place . A drain drained the pond to the south into a ditch running there. Later it was used as an extinguishing water pond . On May 19, 2016, the city council of the state capital Magdeburg decided to sell the pond.
