District rabbinate Dürkheim-Frankenthal
The District Rabbinate Dürkheim-Frankenthal was created in 1827. Frankenthal was the seat of the district rabbinate , with the district rabbi having his seat in Dürkheim . The job advertisement for the district rabbi from 1866 used the phrase "Rabbinate Frankenthal with the official seat in Dürkheim". The district rabbinate Dürkheim-Frankenthal was one of four district rabbinates in the Bavarian Palatinate .
In 1935 the seat of the rabbinate was moved to Ludwigshafen .
