Klaipėda District Administrative Court
The Klaipėda District Administrative Court (lit. Klaipėdos apygardos administracinis teismas , KLAAT) is one of five district administrative courts in Lithuania . The seat is in the north-west Lithuanian city of Klaipėda (183,000 inhabitants). Address is Galinio Pylimo g. 9, Klaipeda, LT-91230.
The Klaipėda District Administrative Court was established in 1999 (like all Lithuanian administrative courts). On May 1, 1999, the District Court began its work on the premises of the District Court of Klaipėda (Herkaus Manto g. 26, Klaipėda) with four judges (Alona Romanovienė, Vida Stonkuvienė, Jonas Špelveris and Rimantas Žilevičius) and seven court clerks.
In 1999 the court tried 516 administrative cases (2007 - 3 789, from the establishment to the end of 2008 - 17 567 administrative cases).
