Bibin svijet ( German Bibas Welt ) is a Croatian sitcom that was produced by the local private broadcaster RTL Televizija . The main protagonist is the supermarket saleswoman Biba Fruk ( Ana Begić ), who has to overcome the hurdles of everyday life with her colleagues and her family and who repeatedly comes across delicate situations. The series is a remake of the German comedy series Ritas Welt , which was produced by RTL from 1999 to 2003 .

Biserka Fruk - known by everyone as Biba - lives with her husband, the car mechanic Martin Fruk ( Janko Rakoš / Sven Šestak ) and their two children Sandra ( Duška Jurić ) and Darko ( Valdemar Kušan ) in a residential area on the outskirts of Zagreb and works as a cashier in a nearby supermarket. There she works with her boss Janko Piškorić ( Željko Duvnjak ) and her colleagues Đurđa ( Slavica Knežević ), Milivoj ( Amar Bukvić ) and Vlado ( Matija Jakšeković ). Biba always brings herself, her family and also her colleagues into tricky but also funny situations through her cheeky and at the same time lively character.
