RTL Televizija (often also called RTL Hrvatska ) is a private television broadcaster in Croatia . The broadcaster is 100% owned by the RTL Group .
history
The TV station went on air on April 30, 2004 after the third national TV channel of the Croatian broadcaster HRT was made available to private broadcasters . RTL Televizija was awarded the contract and since then has been using the frequencies of what was once the third channel (almost free to receive across the board). The channel was the second national commercial operator in Croatia after Nova TV .
RTL Televizija has been broadcast digitally since 2010, together with its sister station RTL 2, which was added at the end of 2010 .
program
The content of the program is based on the German model RTL Television . Not only the visual appearance is similar to the German program, but also some program formats have been adopted and are sometimes broadcast at the same time (e.g. the news or the tabloid magazines).
In-house productions
Many RTL Televizija programs are in-house productions. These include its own news programs RTL Vijesti and RTL Danas . The tabloid magazines Exploziv and Exklosiv also exist . RTL Televizija also produces its own version of Big Brother , its own format for the knowledge magazine Galileo , the talk shows Sanja and Studio 45 , the dating game show Srcolovka , the quiz show Veto , the entertainment show Salto , the music show X-Factor Adria , with Hrvatska traži zvijezdu their own version of Pop Idol , the soap opera Zabranjena ljubav , the telenovelas Ruža vjetrova , Ne daj se, Nina , Tajne or Prava žena , the fashion show Top Model by Tatjana Jurić , the self-produced sitcoms Kriza and Bibin svijet or the reality show Dvornikovi .
Third-party productions
RTL Televizija also broadcasts numerous third-party productions such as the Alarm for Cobra 11 series or CSI: Vegas . There are also Hollywood - blockbusters or films from the former member states of Yugoslavia shown.
Sports
Sport is also part of the RTL Televizija program. The 1st HNL , the Red Bull Air Race World Championship , the English Premier League and boxing will be shown .
