For almost 25 years, the bibliography of book and library history was the central specialist bibliography for (predominantly) German-language book and library history (abbreviation: BBB). It was edited by Horst Meyer and appeared from 1982 (reporting period 1980/81) to 2004 (reporting period 2002/03) in 23 volumes in the "Bibliographisches Verlag Horst Meyer", Bad Iburg ( ISSN  0723-3590 ).

The original plan was a Retrodigitization parts of the bibliography in science b2i accessible. The shutdown of the portal in February 2015 ended this initiative.
