history
In 1962 the magazine Die Sister , at that time still as a customer magazine, was published for the first time. In the next three years, demand increased and the magazine became a subscription magazine. In 1975 the magazine was renamed Die Sister Der Pfleger . The journal was published by the B. Braun Foundation until 1977, when Bibliomed Medizinische Verlagsgesellschaft mbH was founded as an independent specialist publisher in the same year. In 1984 the trade journal f & wführung und Wirtschaften im Krankenhaus was published for the first time .
Bibliomed has been organizing the National DRG Forum in Berlin since 2002, which receives over a thousand participants every spring and is Germany's largest industry get-together for clinic managers. In addition, the publisher is the organizer of the specialist events FAOPI (specialist symposium for anesthesia care, operating theater services and intensive care) and the German specialist care congress for professional carers. The online portal Station24 , run by Bibliomed, was launched in 2010, followed in 2014 with BibliomedManager, an online portal for managers and decision-makers in hospitals and the general health sector. In 2017, as part of a relaunch, the care portal was renamed BibliomedPflege .
