Die Sister, Der Pfleger (also spelled: Die Sister Der Pfleger ) is a German specialist journal for nursing professions. It has been published monthly since 1962 by Bibliomed-Verlag , Melsungen , a subsidiary of the B. Braun Melsungen company .

It describes itself as Germany's most subscribed care magazine and has been the official organ of the German Professional Association for Nursing Professions (DBfK) since July 2006 . The target group are readers from the professions of health and nursing as well as elderly care . It contains a DBfK section for messages to its members and a detailed job market that can be filled out. The website has existed since 2011 - initially under the name Station 24 , since 2017 under BibliomedPflege. The portal is to be understood as a supplement to the print edition . So z. B. the subscription for the print edition can be combined with an additional online subscription. In addition, the annual table of contents of the print edition from 2000 onwards is available online.

From 1962 to 1974 the title was The Sister: A Nursing Magazine . The magazine “ Pflege aktuell” of the DBfK went up in 2006 in Die Sister, Der Pfleger .
