The library of the Kaunas Technological University (lit. Kauno technologijos universiteto biblioteka ) is a university library in the second largest Lithuanian city ​​of Kaunas . history

The library was founded in Kaunas in 1950 after the reorganization of the State University of Kaunas (now VDU). The Kaunas State University was divided into the Kaunas Medical Institute and the Kaunas Polytechnic Institute (KPI). In 1978 the rare prints department was established. From 2001 to 2004 the second floor of the central library was reconstructed and a modern reading room was opened there.
