from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The neo-baroque villa Biesnitzer Straße 36 in the western outskirts of the Görlitz district of Südstadt is a protected cultural monument, which is registered under the number 09280269 in the monument protection list of the State Office for Monument Protection in Saxony. The structure with the enclosed garden was possibly built by the architect Gerhard Röhr from Görlitz around 1900. The cultural monument, designed with lavish neo-baroque stucco decorations and varied facade elements, is of architectural importance. The corner is highlighted by an octagonal bay window. The west facade is accentuated in the middle by a triangular protruding middle section and a curved gable and is strongly sculpted by balconies with loggias. The north-east view is emphasized by a variant of the Serlio motif with a gable. In the representative stairwell there are large colored lead glass windows with depictions of flowers.
