Big Gold ( Japanese. ビ ッ グ ゴ ー ル ド , Biggu Gōrudo ) was a Japanese manga magazine that was aimed at a male audience and was therefore one of his magazines. The age of the readership ranged from their early twenties to late forties, over half of them employees, around 11% housewives and 6% students. Every fifth reader was female. The magazine contained series of older, already well-known cartoonists such as Leiji Matsumoto , Mitsuteru Yokoyama and Shigeru Mizuki and was accordingly aimed at a readership that had read manga for a long time and wanted to read more stories from their favorite artists.

The magazine originally started in 1978 as a special issue for Big Comic magazine , but then developed into a regular magazine until it was discontinued in 1985. It was launched again in 1992, but discontinued in 1999.
