history

Bike shows arose in the 1970s in the USA, where the customizing scene experienced a boom after the release of the film Easy Rider . The Rat's Hole Show (1973, Daytona Florida) is one of the first to exist to this day.

To enable comparability, classes are divided according to style. This can be done according to age (engine generation) or the type of conversion. In addition to these sub-classes, a “Best of Show” title is usually awarded, in which a winner of the entire bike show is chosen from among all winners of the classes.
