Câtel Fort (2013)

Câtel Fort is a former guardhouse over Grève-de-Lecq Bay on the British Channel Island of Jersey .

The fort was built in the 1780s to protect the bay from a feared French invasion. Originally the fort was armed with three 32 pounder cannons and garrisoned with 15 men and a sergeant .
