The Bildpunkt is a magazine of the interest group IG Bildende Kunst for artists living in Austria.

The Bildpunkt has been published four times a year in Vienna since 2005 , and from 2000 to the end of 2004 there were bimonthly issues under the title bild.punkt . Each issue appears on a key topic to which all articles are dedicated. Three artistic positions - photo series, middle poster and back - break the text monopoly as independent, non-illustrative works. In terms of content, the pixel is based on the interlinking of aesthetic and activist strategies.

In the middle section of each issue you will find texts on cultural policy, a service section for artists and information about activities of the IG Bildende Kunst .

Bildpunkt cooperates with the Linksnet website .
