Painting of Saint Sebastian, 18th century

The wayside shrine in Kronburg , in the Unterallgäu district ( Bavaria ), was built in the 17th century and is a listed building. It is located west of the village on the road to Illerbeuren . The wayside shrine was made of bricks and is plastered. It has the shape of a Tuscan column with a four-sided attachment. There are painted metal panels in the shallow niches. The pictures, probably created in the 18th century, show St. Francis Xavier , the Holy Family and St. Sebastian .
