The education center of the Bavarian economy e. V. aims to promote the professional, economic and social education of young and adult people in the sense of a liberal, socially responsible economic and social order.
To this end, the bbw e. V. Conferences, trainings, workshops, projects and other educational measures for socially important groups, institutions and multipliers. “Business in Dialogue” is the central forum for exchange between business and schools, universities, churches, the armed forces and administration.
Within the group of companies, bbw e. V. fulfills a double function. In addition to the implementation of his socio-political mandate, he is the highest body in charge of the group of over 25 companies and holdings. The bbw e. V. 37 member associations, 15 member companies and 17 sponsors.
The bbw e. V. is a recognized provider of adult education in accordance with the Adult Education Promotion Act (EbFöG) and a member of the Wuppertal district as well as of the ADBW working group for educational institutions in the German economy.
Group companies have 6,000 employees and around 2,000 temporary workers at 300 locations in Germany.
history
In 1969, the Bavarian employers' associations founded the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. (bbw). Bbw the one sees social policy committed to promoting the civic, social, economic and training of young and adult citizens in the sense of a liberal, socially committed economic and social order.

Total E-Quality
On October 28, 2013, five companies in the Bildungswerk group were once again awarded the Total E-Quality award for their success in the field of equal opportunities :
- the vocational training centers of the Bavarian economy (bfz) gGmbH
- the Society for the Promotion of Professional and Social Integration (gfi) gGmbH
- the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bbw) gGmbH

Quality management system
Quality has at bbw e. V. is very important. As one of the first educational institutions , the Bildungswerk der Bayerischen Wirtschaft e. V. Certify in 1996. At regular intervals, the bbw e. V. tested by the certification company CERTQUA according to the requirements of the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008 . In the QM system , the quality goals to which all managers and employees are committed are defined and the corresponding quality standards are described.
