Bill Goodwin (country musician)
Bill Goodwin (* 1930 in Cumberland City , Tennessee ) is an American country and rockabilly musician.
Goodwin started his career with Starday Records in May 1958 . Goodwin's first singles were released through Starday's "Package Deal". With the Teenage Blues in 1958 another record appeared in the PD series, but this time on the Starday label. In December, the single Your Lying Ways / Will You Still Love Me followed on Dixie Records . In 1962, Goodwin returned to Band Box with Revenuer Man .
Goodwin dedicated himself to country music in the 1960s. In the late 1960s he got a recording contract with MTA Records, where his sessions were now produced by songwriter and country star Roy Drusky . Goodwin also owned a club in Tucson with Jim Jenkins.
