Binta Jallow

Binta Jallow (born around 2001 ) is a Gambian athlete .

Life

Her first international competition was the African Youth Games 2018 in Algiers (Algeria), where she finished fourth over 200 meters with 25.44 seconds.

She reached fourth place in the 400-meter run at the 2019 African Youth Athletics Championships (U 18) in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) and set a new Gambian national record with a time of 54.98 seconds . Adama Njie's previous best time in 2001 was 55.32 seconds. She also won the bronze medal over 200 meters with 24.13 seconds.
