Biomedicum Helsinki

The Biomedicum in Helsinki , Finland , is a medical research center that serves the university education. It employs around 1,400 people.

It was founded in 1995. The current building, which is located on the Meilahti campus of the University of Helsinki , was given it in 2001. The construction of a new wing is planned for 2007, in which mainly companies that are already existing will be based Biomedicum work together.
