Biophony
Biophonie ( suitcase word from Lat. Bio , "life" and ancient Greek phonos , "sound") is used in the following contexts:
- Synchronization of short silent films with gramophone tones using a biophone
- Used by Bernie Krause in Murray Schafer's extended soundscape concept for the vocalizations of all non-human living beings.
