Biostructure analysis

Structogram

The biostructural analysis ( Structogram ) is an organizing self-analysis that is advertised and used commercially in the corporate sector. The relative strength of the personality components “feeling”, “emotion” and “ratio” should be assessed. These components are assigned to different parts of the brain and colors. The result of the biostructure analysis is shown in a three-colored pie chart. The method is not suitable for staff appraisal.

The biostructural analysis was developed in the late 1970s by the German anthropologist Rolf W. Schirm . The model was based on a concept published in 1974 by the American brain researcher Paul D. MacLean , who described the three parts of the cerebrum , diencephalon and brain stem as phylogenetically differently old structures (see Triune Brain ). Screen identified initially 102 indicators and selected from 24, later 39 items due to the Discrimination value to Lawshe , which he summarized in ten tasks.

According to the manufacturer, the results of the test are specific for each person and stable in adults. The individual biostructure is genetically determined and cannot be changed. Scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals have not yet been submitted.
