Birte (potato)
Birte is a predominantly waxy potato variety from the early ripening segment.
Birte shows high resistance to potato diseases such as black- leggedness or iron stain . The youth development is fast, the eyes are flat and it can be stored well. The tuber yield, however, is only weak to medium depending on the location.
