Biton ( Greek  Βίτων ) is the name of a figure in Greek mythology:

  • Biton (Phrurarch) , Syracusan, from the tyrant Dionysius I of Syracuse 397 BC. Used as phrurarch (fortress commander) in Motye
  • Biton (mercenary leader) , participated under Alexander the Great in 326/325 BC. In a leading position in an uprising in Bactria
  • Biton (author) , probably in the 2nd half of the 2nd century BC. Living author of a small, preserved work on war machines
