Yifat Sasha-Biton , known in Israel as Yifat Shasha-Biton ( Hebrew יפעת שָׁאשָׁא-ביטון; * May 23, 1973 in Kirjat Schmona ) is an Israeli teacher with a doctorate and politician of the Kulanu party , whose only member of the Knesset she is currently and which has been part of the Likud parliamentary group since 2019 .

Life

Sasha-Biton studied teaching at Haifa University . She became a teacher at OHALO College .

Sasha-Biton has been a member of the Knesset since May 2015. On January 9, 2019, she was sworn in as Minister of Construction and Housing in Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet and held this office until May 17, 2020.

Sasha-Biton is married with three children and lives in Sichron Jaakov .
