Yitzchak Levy

Yitzchak Levy ( Hebrew יצחק לוי; *  July 6, 1947 in Casablanca ) is an Israeli Orthodox rabbi , politician and member of the Knesset for the National Religious Party (NRP) and the Achi faction of the National Union from 1988 to 2009. From 1998 to 2002 he was chairman of the National Religious Party and had numerous Holds ministerial offices. In December 2008, he announced his retirement from politics. In 1987 he received the Yitzhak Sadeh Prize .
