ideology

The Israeli left views him as a nationalist zealot, and some have accused him of being a fanatic and self-proclaimed messiah. In an interview he is reported to have said: “I have a dream of leading the entire Israeli people. I think it's my destiny. "And further:" I came to lead, not to make irrelevant politics. "

Eitam described the Israeli Arabs as “cancer in the body of the nation” and also opposed a sovereign Palestinian state: “[...] for the area west of the Jordan we must stipulate that no other sovereignty will be established there than that of the State of Israel. "(" [...] for the area west of the Jordan, we have to state that no sovereignty will be established there other than that of the State of Israel. ")
