The Bitterfelder Brücke is a road bridge in Berlin that runs in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district along the Bitterfelder Strasse over the Märkische Allee and the Wriezener Bahn .

history

The Bitterfeld Bridge was built in 1979. Between 2003 and 2004, as part of the expansion of Bitterfelder Straße, the bridge was expanded from two to four lanes . Vehicle, pedestrian and cyclist traffic between the districts of Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Lichtenberg was maintained during the construction work. The distance from the old to the new bridge is 1.25 meters. The old and the new bridge consist of six fields with a span of 20.00 meters each and cross the underpassing traffic routes at an angle of 80.0144 gon . There was also a new building for the street lighting. The construction costs amounted to 1,878,000 euros.
