The Blériot 115 - also known as the Blériot Bl-115 - was a four-engine passenger aircraft made by the French manufacturer Blériot Aéronautique .

General

The aircraft , which took off for the first time on May 9, 1923, was a passenger aircraft designed for eight passengers. In total, only four copies of this type were built.

The first machine crashed on July 23, 1923 due to a broken control cable; the pilot was killed in the process. The third and fourth machines were used for an expedition to Africa.

Two copies were made under the name Blériot 115bis, which were identical to the 115 except for the engines used, Hispano-Suiza Ab, also each with 180 hp and the extension to eleven seats. The first flight of the 15bis was in June 1924.
