The BlackBox Component Builder is now a free component-based development system for the type-safe and object-oriented programming language Component Pascal (which is actually a dialect of Oberon ), developed by Oberon microsystems since 1990 .

properties

The BlackBox Component Builder is characterized by its low hardware requirements, high stability and short development times. It supports a generic model view controller architecture and is used, among other things, for scientific and technical applications, but also in teaching and research .

Availability

The programs created with Blackbox run as application programs in a runtime system with reliable automatic memory cleaning as long as the SYSTEM module is not imported, which bypasses the control options of the runtime system.
