Blazin 'Squad is an English hip-hop band.

history

Blazin 'Squad consists of ten teenage artists who call themselves Reepa, Krazy, Kenzie, Flava, Tommy-B, Spike-e, Strider, Rocky-B, Freek and Melo-D. They all come from Chingford, a town in east London . The band members met at school and began making music together at the age of fourteen.

The members of Blazin 'Squad released their first single at the age of 16 and had a number one hit with Crossroads , a cover version of Tha Crossroads by Bone Thugs-n-Harmony . With other pieces like Love on the Line , We Just Be Dreamin ' or Flip Reverse , they were able to place themselves repeatedly in the British top ten and later also celebrate successes in Germany.

In 2004 the members' contract expired and they had no way of getting a new one. After a hiatus of about 18 months, Strider, Krazy and Kenzie started producing music again under the group name Friday Hill .

After a long wait, Blazin 'Squad came back in 2006. Even if they were no longer ten, but only four (Rocky B, Spike-E, Melo-D and Reepa), they stayed true to their urban hip-hop and brought a new single with All Night Long at the end of the year out. Due to a lack of success in the British charts and subsequent cancellation of individual tour dates, the band quickly fell silent again.

Blazin 'Squad formed again in 2009: The first song of the now five-piece band "Let's Start Again" was released in the UK in mid-June 2009.
