Blind Willie Davis

Blind Willie Davis was an American blues and gospel singer and guitarist. Blind Gary Davis called him one of the greatest country blues guitarists alongside Blind Blake and Blind Simmie Dooley .

Davis made the first recording of the spiritual When the Saints Go Marching In , recorded for Paramount Records in the late 1920s . While Davis's recordings are well documented, very little is known about his life.
