Blind broadcast

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Blind broadcast (not to be confused with blind broadcast ) is a technical term in radio communications . It describes the procedure in the event of partial radio failure when it can be assumed that you can still send but no longer receive. It is assumed that the called station can receive. At the beginning of the radio message there is always the word "blind broadcast". It must be sent twice and must contain the time and / or position of the aircraft. After the report, the time of the next report is specified and the report is also repeated for safety reasons.
