Blue Star SC , also BSSC for short, is a sports club from Kalutara in Sri Lanka .
The men's soccer team currently plays in the country's highest league, the Dialog Champions League .
history
Founded in 1978, the biggest success so far was winning the Dialog Champions League, Sri Lanka's highest football league, in 2003. By winning the championship, Blue Star qualified for the AFC President's Cup in 2005 . There the club reached the semi-finals and was eliminated from the eventual winner Regar TadAZ .
