Blumenthal Award

The Blumenthal Award (German Blumenthal Prize , full English name: Leonard M. and Eleanor B. Blumenthal Award for the Advancement of Research in Pure Mathematics ) was presented in 1993 by the American Mathematical Society (AMS) in memory of Leonard M. and Eleanor B. Donated by Blumenthal . The Blumenthal Award was given every four years to a person for significant contributions to research in the field of pure mathematics . After the funding for the prize ended, the awarding of the prize was also discontinued.
