Bo Balderson

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Under the pseudonym Bo Balderson ( pronunciation : [ ˌbuː ˈbalːdəʂɔn ]) a Swedish writer of unknown name published a long series of popular and widely read detective novels from 1968 until the 1980s . The criminal cases in it are solved , rather by chance, by the quirky and chaotic minister in collaboration with his equally strange brother-in-law, a retired college teacher.

During the speculation as to who is behind the pseudonym, numerous names were mentioned, including the author Sven Delblanc , the editor Ake Runnqvist , the university professor Björn Sjöberg and the author and songwriter Olle Adolphson , who died in 2004. However, in 2009 Bo Balderson is said to have been alive.
