Bobby Brackins (born September 14, 1988 in Oakland ) is an American rapper .

biography

As a 17-year-old Brackins had his first local successes in northern California with the band Go Dav . In 2009 he signed a contract with Tycoon Status Entertainment and released his first solo single Skinny Jeans . The following year he had a hit in the San Francisco Bay Area with the self-written 143 (an SMS code for I Love You ). Then Universal Republic noticed him and hired him for a nationwide publication. The number was re-recorded together with Ray J and reached number 76 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in the summer of 2010 .
